Birthday Outfit Wish List

Happy Weekend everyone!
So my 27th birthday is in a couple of weeks and I have seen so many amazing things lately that I love, that it felt time to do a big delightful wish list of birthday wants. I love winter and snow but I am also really looking forward to Spring coming and to renewing my wardrobe and accessories with more fun and whimsical bits and bobs. I decided I would put together a little outfit for my birthday dinner out.

I am obsessed with this Miss Mix-It Dress from Modcloth, it is so cute and fun! Ever since, Tanesha from Girl With Curves posted herself in it, I have been thinking about it! Since the weather is going to be a bit crap for the next little while, I would wear it with tights and these great Clarks Aldwych Wood Heeled Boots from Brantano. I love my Clarks, I don't care what anyone says, they are comfortable and cool and I will never stray!
I think this adorable little beaded heart purse from Accessorize is a perfect match for the outfit - my birthday falls 4 days after Valentine's day, so it's the perfect excuse to carry heart print/shaped everything. Accessorize has the cutest little purses at the moment, I want one of everything!
To tie things together, I chose these gorgeous surprise zest earrings from Modcloth and this heart print (Kiev Cafe Cardigan from Modcloth) cardigan to keep warm.
I haven't made any concrete plans yet for my birthday but I'm hoping to go out for a nice meal and drinks, so this outfit should be perfect!
What do you all think? Is there anything you have been hoping for with Spring coming?

My Navabi Holiday Wish List!

Hello!
So amidst the insanity that is my life at the moment, I am actually going on holiday next week to Turkey with my handsome fiance, Steven. I've never taken a real beach holiday before so I am looking forward to kicking back in the sun, with lots of sun cream on and my new giant sun hat and doing very little. I have been saving a book that I ordered a few weeks ago to read by another blogger, Gala Darling, called Radical Self Love: A Guide to Loving Yourself and Living Your Dream. I'm excited to read it as I feel like it's a perfect holiday book to set my mind straight and get my life goals sorted. I also have a few bits to do on here, as I'd love to spend time pepping new and exciting things for you all!

Before I go, I have been compiling a list of things to get, which I meant to share before, but it's never too late to share good stuff, is it now!? I have been scowering the Navabi website as I am a little obsessed with Summer glam looks and so many of their designers have the most beautiful pieces.

I have many swim suits, bikinis in particular, but I like to have a variety of options and so I have chosen this gorgeous Robyn Lawley designed black one piece. From the description, it sounds like it has everything I have ever wanted in a swimsuit, like bust support, comfortable straps and interesting details like the ruching.

Next, to go with the epic swimsuit, I have chosen this gorgeous House of Magpie floral embroidered kimono. I love the tassels and the embroidering, it's all very lavish and over the top. I can imagine wearing it both poolside but then everywhere else as well - just to feel fancy and sophisticated.
We plan on spending time walking in the little town next to our hotel and maybe having a nice meal out so this dress looks perfect for an occasion like that. The floral print is beautiful and it's made of silk so light and Turkey - weather friendly!

I've never been to Turkey and as this is what feels like the first holiday where I will have an opportunity to dress up and go out, I am really looking forward to wearing all these goodies if they arrive on time! I'd love to know if you have some favourite pieces from Navabi - I love their massive selection of brands and designers - it reminds me of shopping in France.

Asos Curve - Dress Wish List

Good morning and happy Sunday everyone!
So I spent a good part of last night procrastinating on Asos Curve instead of packing my suitcase for my mini jaunt to Amsterdam today, so I thought I would share with you my current list of wants from Asos Curve and it happens to be entirely dresses. As soon as it gets warm out, I start wearing dresses as much as possible - I love the freedom and feminine look that a dress has and every single one of these dresses is super on trend. You can click on the photos directly if you want to have a look on the Asos site at them.

The first three fit right into the 70s bohemian style that is making it's comeback at the moment and they are so cute and fresh for Summer. The second three are a bit moodier - especially the epic metallic animal print dress.
I really love what Asos Curve have at the moment and really feel like I can have my pic of trends that I want to follow and be a part of.
Have you got any favourites ? I'm thinking a couple of these might be perfect for my holiday to Turkey that's coming up!

4. Nude Pink Scalloped Cuff Top - The scalloped cuffs on this top are gorgeous and I think would look amazing tucked in to the floral skirt! Outfit done!

My Spring Favourites From Evans

Good morning lovelies!
So today, since it has been a while since I shared some of my online favourites, I thought I would do a sort of wishlist/favourites post. I chose Evans because I am well and truly impressed with how well they have been doing as of late with their new collection and Spring trends.
These are my top 6 things that I am considering as must haves in my wardrobe this year.

1. Collection Black High low Hem Top - Evans - This top is so feminine and sophistacated and will look amazing with shorts or leggings for when it's nice out.
2. Collection Cobalt blue Bralet Top - Evans - I am obsessed with this bralet and the fact that Evans are doing a bralet - I need this to go with my ever growing collection of midi skirts!
3. Blue Denim Longline Shirt - Evans - Denim is always an easy go to and this tunic will be so easy to throw on with leggings and cute flats or sandals and jazz up with great accesories. It's also perfect for this weird in between weather too!
4. Ultra Stretch Skinny Jeans - Evans - I haven't had a chance to try these jeans yet but everyone says they are amazing so they are on my list to test out. Evans here I come!
5. Blue Cloud Print Tunic - Evans - I am in love with this tunic - it reminds me of the new Cath Kidston collection which is all cloudy and such, however all too small for me so I am super excited about this!
Brown Leopard Print Sandals - Evans - These sandals are cute but comfortable and will be great for weekends walking and visiting markets and hopefully sitting in the park!

I find this the hardest time of the year to get dressed in the morning because I start off wanting to be cozy but by the time I arrive at work it's sunny and I am too warm.

What are your go to outfits for Spring?

#Foundit - Valentine's Goodies For Him

Hello my lovelies,
So this month is full of exciting things, including my birthday, another vacation and of course Valentine's day! So let this be the beginning of many awesome posts! I decided to put together a mood board of sorts with the help of Debenhams for my fella.
He loves all things geek-chic and rockabilly inspired so I have chosen a few things that I know he would like to wear on the daily.

So I think all of the itemsI have chosen could be put to good use and incorporated in to a killer set of outfits - check out the details below:

1. Leather Satchel: This gorgeous leather satchel would fit everything from a laptop to all the bits and bobs that Steve needs for work and it looks sweet as well.
2. Ben Sherman Black Leather Boots: Steven owns a few good pair or shoes but his boots are his favourite, so a nice shiny new pair like these would be bang on.

3. Doctor Who Tardis Mug: I would be a bad fiancé if I didn't include so geek goodness, like this amazing Dr Who tea mug.
4. Red Herring Socks: Even when he's wearing a sharp suit, Steven aways has awesome socks so these would be right at home on his feet.

5. Jeff Banks Knitted Black Tie: Knitted ties have such a classic vintage look and this would lend well to Steven's overall style.
6. Ben Sherman Men's Black Leather Strap Watch: It's always tough to find a nice watch hat isn't  too flashy or over the top and I think Steven would love this one.
7. Jasper Conran Luxury Dressing Gown: This is a selfish choice as I have been saying the Steven needs a new dressing gown for ages,  so I chose this amazing and luxurious designer one that would be sure to make him feel like the king that he is.

What are you getting your other half for Valentine's day? Tell me about it in the comments!

Lippy Love - Another Red

Good morning lovelies!

So on my holidays I did some shopping for new lipsticks and the one I was actually looking for was a plum or purple shade. Fortunately I did I find one which I will share with you later this week, but on my quest, I had to find lip liners that worked well with my lip colours. I need to wear a liner because I find that all lipsticks bleed on me no matter what I do.
Whilst out shopping, I popped into TopShop because I had seen a post on Pinterest about their Lip Bullet. It must be popular as there weren't many colours left in stock, so I grabbed my favourite red colour. Next, I visited the little Barry M stand where I was shown a deep red liner that is so smooth and easy to put on.

I'm happy to report that this morning, despite my lopsided makeup and general exhaustion from fighting my way to work early, I am in love with these new lip products. The liner holds it's colour (Number 3) and  doesn't move, and I will probably need to own all the colours now. This comes in under £3 too!
As for the Lip Bullet,  the colour is called Joyride, and the best part about it is the shape and texture. It has a short point making it easier to angle and not smudge out of the lip line. The texture is like silk and is thin but extremely pigmented and dries quickly and doesn't transfer much compared to most lip sticks. (This costs £8, so very resonsable).
Have you tried any of these? Any thoughts?
Stay Tuned for the purple review coming soon!
