Skin Deep - Red Lips & Reader Requests

Good morning everyone!
In honour of International Kissing Day this Saturday, I wanted to tell you all about my favourite red lip sticks - I wear red lipstick as much as my wardrobe will allow and have several shades to choose from. I do alternate sometimes and wear pink but generally I just love the way a red lip makes me look and feel.
From the left-  Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick,
Kat Von D for Sephora Foiled Love in Berenice (metallic poppy red),
Lush Emotional Brilliance Decisive,
Lush It Started with a Kiss lip tint
Barry M Lip Lacquer Crayon
I love all of these for different reasons, but one thing is for sure, they are my favourites because they stay on and they don't bleed. For some reason, lipstick bleeds so easily on my lips and I feel like a clown after 5 minutes but these colours stay put. I also use the Lush lip tint and Barry M Lip Laquer underneath the other colours to really help them stay put if I know I won't have time to re-apply.
The photos look slightly pink but these lip colours are good solid reds, I promise!
I'm curious to know if you have any favourite lip colours. Share with me in the comments!

And now it's time for reader questions! Woohoo! I got a lovely question from Ali all about face masks from Lush. Here is what she sent:
"I'm new to Lush products, and popped into the Bristol store a couple of weeks ago for a face mask. The woman was very helpful and pointed me in the direction of the oat face mask. (I have very combination skin, both very oily and dry.) I liked the mask, but found I can only use it in the bath or shower, because it is so textured that bits keep falling off. Is there a Lush mask for combination skin that you could recommend that I can wear whilst I'm pottering around the house? Many thanks :) "

I have this same exact problem Ali. Oatifix is my favourite mask because it makes my skin so soft and lovely and gets rid of dry spots, but it does crumble all over the place. I would suggest you try The Sacred Truth, which is a really silky, soft mask that will go on almost like a lovely thick cream and stay put. It is full of papaya, free range eggs and honey so it leaves your face feeling fresh, hydrated and soft. This one can be popped on quickly and then you can potter about without a worry! I hope that helps! Let me know how you get on with it!
For those of you who don't know, Lush Fresh Facemasks are preservative free and so fresh they need to be kept in the fridge. Have a look here!
As always, feel free to leave a question/request in the comments or pop me an email and I'll include you in the next post!
