Hello everyone!
So just over a week ago, I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Slink Boutique Pop Up Shop in Marleybone. For those of you who don't know, Slink Boutique is an online hand picked, luxury fashion shop for plus sizes. I was really excited to see what great pieces they had as a lot of the designers available were quite exclusive and high end. The pop up shop looked great and to top it all off, Rivkie, Slink's Editor-in-chief, along with Becky from The Ramblings of Mrs Bebe and creator of Beauty in Curves jeans, Alice, were all there to show me around and have a lovely chat.
The rails were full of gorgeous dresses, tops, bottoms and jackets. Everything was beautiful and to such a high quality. Slink Boutique really represents a new concept in plus size fashion - it gives successful women who are plus size another option in fashion - high fashion.
I didn't have a lot of time and spent tons of time chatting with everyone, but I did manage to try on a pair of Beauty in Curves Jeans and I have only good things to say about them.
They are proper sturdy jeans that fit in all the right places. They hold in the tummy and hug the hips and just feel amazing. The rise is great too, and you can tell that Alice has spent a lot of time thinking about what a bigger body needs in a jean.
Sorry about the photo being a bit dark - but these are the black boot cut jeans from Beauty in Curves. I definitely notice a difference in my silhouette around the tummy area which is always a nice bonus.
Although the pop up shop is gone, go and check out the Slink Boutique website - it's fantastic!
