Good morning everyone!
This post is going to be all about the evening spent at the British Plus Size Awards. I felt very fortunate to be nominated for the Best new Blogger award and was up against so many wonderful bloggers, like Hollie from Pretty Big Butterflies and Lucie from FatBeautyX to name two. I am pleased to report that Hollie took home the award and it was well deserved. She is truly a new blogger with her amazing blog having been around only a year and has achieved so much in such a short time. If you don't read her blog, get on it and start!

The evening was such a good fun, although I personally wasn't a massive fan of the dinner, being among friends and having a good laugh was what we were there for and that's exactly what we did.
I sat at a table with Hollie and Lucie and a few other fabulous women, where we enjoyed the entertainment being put on between announcements of awards. My absolute favourite act was seeing Ashleigh Owen do her comedy dance act followed closely by the Big Ballet.

We had a chance to catch up with the gorgeous ladies from CurvyKatie lingerie and I even chatted with plus size model, Hayleigh Hasselhoff and her mother Pamela Bach.
I wore a Dorothy Perkins top, Collectif skirt (and clutch too), New Look pumps and the ultimate mermaid necklace which I had made by Black Heart Creatives.
For the record, my entire outfit was based around the necklace as that's all that I knew I wanted to wear on the evening - sadly it would have been bit crazy to wear only the necklace and nothing else.
I had a lovely time and it was a great excuse to get dressed up and see all my blogger babes out and looking fab.
