George at Asda - Something for the end of Summer!

Good morning lovelies!
So I wanted to share with you a little extra following on from my post yesterday. After I took my photos in my swim suit, I wanted something comfy and cute to wear around, and I had just the thing with this leopard print jumpsuit from George at Asda*. I will admit that jumpsuits have never been my go to outfit, but this one has changed my tune. Not only is it soft and comfortable, it's also a full length, but I have rolled it up here so it has a capris length (it kind of gives it a land girl look). It has a nice elastic at the waist which helps to keep it all up and looking lovely, and a cute little tie. I think it could easily be dressed up with heels and a blazer, which makes it so handy!

Here I am showing you the fancy elastic waist and tie:

This is a size 24, but I would consider it true to size in that I definitely could have done with a size 20 as I have a lot of space. If you haven't check out George at  Asda go right now - you will not be disappointed. They have plenty of jumpsuits, all under £20 and loads of other on trend items.

Event: SCPR AW14 Press Day

Happy Thursday friends!
So today I want to share a quick post about the SCPR AW 14 press day that I attended last week - mostly because I saw some things that I am really looking forward to seeing in stores and online come end of Summer.
I started by checking out the new Marisota range, including some of the Mark Heyes Collection. I was so wowed last time by that Chanel style Boucle biker jacket that I could't wait to see what he had come up with next. I actually saw Mark there, and he is always sweet as pie when I meet him, such a treat!

Here is the new duster coat in the collection and it is beautiful and lightweight.

There are some really great colours and prints to look forward to in the Marisota collection, I love these three bits here - ahh! sequins, lips and leopard!

I also checked out the Claire Richards for Fashion World collection and it really looks amazing, I think better than the last one even. There are some beautiful classic silhouettes and lovely prints too.  Everything has been well thought about, like elastics hidden on t shirt sleeve cuffs so they don't cut off your circulation above your elbow and built in but removable jewelry.

I also saw the preview for the Liz McClarnon lingerie and lounge wear collection, which, if I'm honest didn't really impress me. The lingerie was cute but not life changing and the lounge wear was simple sweatpants and jersey tops with a cute LM logo on it. Sorry I didn't get any snaps of it!

The last thing that I was totally in love with was a company called DESA and they do leather goods and shoes - unfortunately not in plus sizes but I couldn't resist these few bits.

If someone in the plus size sphere is listening please make us all these jackets OMG!

I am by no means wishing away Summer or Spring but I am pretty excited to see all these goodies appearing online and in stores! Did any of you get a chance to visit the press day - what was your favourite?

OOTD - Lovely in Leopard

Hello again!
I thought I would put up a quick post of what I wore to the FashionWorld event that I just posted about below. It was a hula themed cocktail party so I decided to wear another dress that I picked up at the Fat Positive Clothing Swap.

This dress, believe it or not, is Atmosphere brand from Primark via the swap. It fits like a dream, and has a built in pettycoat for added pufiness. I'm pretty sure this is from ages ago, because I  have never seen something similar at Primark recently.

Dress - Primark
Cardigan - Primark
Flats - Primark
Necklace - Moomoonz

Fashion World Event - Liz McClarnon Collection

Hello!
So yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a Fashion World event for Liz McClarnon's new swim collection. (For my international readers, Liz MacClarnon was part of the music group Atomic Kitten back in the day). The event was held at Mahiki bar near Picadilly circus which is a pretty neat little place, complete with tiki themed everything.
The swimsuits all have a very pinup style theme to them and this is my favourite, because I love flamingos so much. After seeing the range in person though, I am so gutted that the top just will not work for a larger bust. It only has a shelf bra, which just does not do the trick for a bigger bust like mine - an under wire is mandatory for me in a bikini style top. The bottoms, however are gorgeous and adjust up and down for comfort and style.

The evening was lovely, including hula dancers, flower garlands and music and over all really fun!
It was really nice to see all these fabulous ladies below and great to catch up over Hawaiian themed cocktails and nibbles.

Thanks to Fashion World for having me!
Have any of you tried this range? I'm sensing this is the year for my first fatkini... stay tuned.
