Black and Blue with Style All Over

Good morning lovelies!
So last week I attended the George @ Asda Autumn Winter 2015 press day and all I can say is "WOW"! They have so many amazing things coming up and are so on trend, it's ridiculous!
Whilst there, I was very kindly offered a few bits to try and this top is now one of my favourites for easy on the go looks. It's a blue bell sleeve top in a sort of crepe fabric and the necklace come with it, so you can pop it all on with simple black bottoms and cute shoes and go - it's a no brainer!

I love the colourful light up W outside the W Hotel in West London and walk by it often so thought it would be a great spot to shoot these photos. It feels very modern meets old school, like a dressing room table with all the lights.

My shoes are my favourite Dorothy Perkins gold flats that never fail me and could probably do with being replaced - but I keep telling myself that I will get around to it next week.
My bag is my trusty Hotter Shoes bag that I featured in my "Pretty in Pink" post - pop over to it if you want a better look but it's a gorgeous bag!

So there you have it! A quick outfit post and more to come this week! I have so much to tell you about including a cheeky 2 day trip to Amsterdam that I took!

Cute in Coral!

Happy Thursday everyone!
I hope you are all well! I am back today to share a quick OOTD post with you featuring one of my favourite fashion forward and purse friendly brands, George at Asda. I actually cannot get over how good the fit, quality and price is for their clothing. They make a real conscious effort to put out bright and fun pieces that can be worn for so many occasions.

I wore this outfit out shopping on the weekend and it was comfortable but I also felt really chic and cool in it. This top actually comes with the necklace so eliminates having to worry about picking jewelry when I'm in a rush - which is always.

On the bottom I am wearing my favourite black cropped Wonderfit jeans which are designed to fit up one and down one size - so snug but not tight and comfortable. They look awesome and feel even better. I can wear them all day and run around without them falling down or bagging at the knees - my main irritation with jeans, usually.

I put the outfit together with my favourite Dorothy Perkins gold flats and voila! I was ready in ten minutes but looked much better than that - or at least I think I do!

What I wore:

Jeans - George at Asda&
Flats - Dorothy Perkins

Seaside Prints for Summer!

Good morning lovelies!
Today I bring you photos of one of the most gorgeous Summer dresses and you will never guess where it's from! This dress with a beautiful seaside print is from George at Asda  and really is a wonderful example of how they create affordable fashion in a range of sizes that is really on trend. It comes in at £20 but feels like a lot more on.

When I put this dress on I felt beautiful and comfortable but also like I was wearing something special, which I think really comes through in these photos. I originally paired it with a black cardigan knotted at my waist but the fact that the dress has wide straps means that I don't have to worry about my bra straps ruining the look of the dress and in the end I preffered the dress without a cardigan, which was so lovely!

If you are loving this dress and want to see reviews of other George at Asda bits and bobs, have a look at the posts here!  If you are planning on purchasing this dress or another one with a similar cut from the George range I would recommend buying your true size - I am wearing a 20. If you are bigger busted then go up one size as it is not forgiving. I have just enough space for my bust in this dress.

What I am Wearing:
Dress - George at Asda*
Flats - Dorothy Perkins
Bag - Primark

I'd love to hear about your experiences with George at Asda and if you have photos please share them with me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter

Being Blown Away in Black and White!

Good morning lovelies!
So today I have a quick post sharing an outfit from the weekend. Taking photos was tough as it was so windy so please excuse my silly faces and wind blown hair!
Recently I was contacted by George at Asda to try out some of their Spring/Summer collection and  jumped at the opportunity as I love their stuff, as you know! ( See my other posts about George here!)
I opted to try several different things so over the next little while you will see it all popping up.

First up though are the amazing Wonderfit jeans and textured blazer. I can't say enough good things about these jeans - they are snug but comfortable so don't creep down and cropped so perfect for Summer - they also come in full length. As for the blazer, it looks great and fits well and is the perfect weight for this in between seasons weather. I also love that I can throw it on for work!

I wore these two pieces with a gingham top and tuxedo shoes to keep my theme of black and white going. I cheated a bit with the purse as I couldn't resist not carrying it because it's a strawberry!

What I am wearing:
Purse - Primark

I'm looking forward to breaking out into some colour soon so stay tuned for that!
Also, go and get these jeans - they will change your life!

Mixing Prints at the Market

 Good morning my lovelies!
Today I bring you an outfit inspired by one of my absolute favourite bloggers who I have followed since the beginning -  Chastity of Garnerstyle. She is the queen of mixing prints and has the best collection of skirts that I have ever seen.
If you don't know her, please check her out - she is a true style icon.
I received this gorgeous candy stripe blouse from George at Asda this week and my first thought was to head to my closet in search of my favourite midi skirt and I think it really works.

Blouse c/o George at Asda, Skirt - handmade by unknown, Flats - Primark

I think this will be a definite go-to outfit for Summer and those warmer Spring days ahead. I love all the colour and print mixing - it just makes me feel fresh and alive again!
If you want to try your hand at mixing and matching prints, then check out this handy guide from GarnerStyle.

A Little Spring In My Step....

 Good morning my lovely friends!
Today I am sharing an outfit that is totally not my usual style but that I have come to love throughout the day of wearing it.
I think you will all know this familiar H&M princess midi skirt and since buying it, it's been a real staple in my wardrobe. Although my preferred pairing is with a crop top, like in my first post here, that just isn't work appropriate, or so I have been told. So I had to come up with something else.

I attended the George at Asda press day last week and was very kindly gifted some items from the current range and this beautiful white top was one of them. It feels and looks gorgeous and the embellished collar looks like one that belongs on a much more expensive top.
The entire outfit made me feel sophisticated but light and Spring-like.

I saw these little flats in Primark and now have a very strong urge to return and buy other prints and colours as they are so comfortable but also the sweetest print and shape.
I used to be a pointy shoe hater, but I am no more... they are clearly the way forward.

I won't forget to mention my epic new silver purse, also from Primark. It holds everything and anything and is so shiny it that you can almost see yourself in it.

What I am wearing:
Skirt - H&M
Cardigan - Primark
Flats - Primark
Purse - Primark

So there you have it - an outfit that will hopefully inspire you all to get out your spring attire and get dressed up. If not now, then when?!

What are you most looking forward to wearing, now that the sun is peaking it's head out?

*I would like to add a special thanks to my gorgeous photographer Tara who is always wonderful and tolerant with my silly moves and smarmy faces. Check out her blog here!
