Modcloth's Uniquely You Campaign Challenge

Good afternoon everyone! 

I am back and have a few posts all ready to go this week, so expect a lot happening on here unlike last week!

I was recently asked by the lovely people at Modcloth if I wanted to participate in a weekly outfit challenge run by Wanelo as part of their Uniquely You Campaign and I accepted because I really love the concept. For each challenge those who participate are sent a photo of one item and then I have to build an outfit using other Modcloth items. If you have never shopped at Modcloth you must start right away - they have plenty of plus size items, and incredible shoes and accessories.

So here is my entry for the first challenge:
The item we were given to start out storyboard off of was the Esther Williams Fruity Suity swimsuit in a cherry print which I love. I have one of these suits already in a different print so I know how amazing they are. 

I wanted the entire look to feel retro so chose items that did just that but would also be practical for a day out in the sand and sun, like a big hat, glamorous sunglasses, a good beach bag and a cover-up. To top it all off I found this amazing wooden iPod speaker to keep me entertained. 

I sincerely hope that I will make it to a beach this summer and get to test drive some of these things!
