Vacations are something I look forward to all year around. I’ve been to many different places over the past couple years and met some really awesome people. I’ve developed an important travel philosophy and learnt a lot about myself. So, I have some travel plans for the coming year. I’ve come up with ideas for the different types of vacation I might want to take. Then I can make a definitive decision closer to the time depending on money and other factors.
Anyway, for now, check out the travel plans I’ve got for the coming year. There are lots of places I might want to go, but it largely depends on the type of break I choose. See what you guys reckon I should pick!
A Break With My Bestie
My best friend and I love to go on vacation together. We don’t get to do it enough these days, but when we do we really enjoy ourselves. So I’d like to try to make time to go away with her at some point in the next year. I know we both would love to travel to Africa, as this is somewhere I’ve never been before. I keep going on here and checking out different things about Ghana, and other African countries. And it’s really made me realise just how much I want to go there. I know my bestie is keen to go as well, so we’ll just have to finalise whereabouts we’re going to go.
Flying Solo
As a frequent traveler, there are a fair few times that I have gone abroad on my own. Now, obviously, I love to travel with friends and family. But, there’s something very different about solo travel that it’s difficult to replicate. I enjoy the freedom and spontaneity that comes with vacationing on my own. So this is definitely something I’d like to consider for the coming year. I will need to make a decision about where to go though. I could head back to Turkey, or I might revisit Amsterdam. Though I am considering going somewhere entirely new. But this will depend on my financial situation.
Family Fun
It’s always great to spend time with the family, but as we get older, this becomes more and more difficult. I don’t see my family half as much as I would like to these days. And that’s why I’m thinking about taking a vacation with them all at some point soon. I don’t think we’ve done that as a family since I was a kid. Of course, it’s going to be an interesting experience. Holidaying with family is a totally different dynamic to going away with friends, or even on your own. And there needs to be more thought put into the location that we choose. There’s likely to be extended family and a few kids involved too. It seems like it could be an awful lot of work and effort, so I might have to see about this one!
So, these are basically the three options I have for the coming year. I definitely know I want to go away. And, if possible, I’d like to go somewhere I haven’t been before. But that’s the only real decision I’ve made at this point.
